The 30th Annual Vino Desert Classic Golf Tournament

Please join me this year in my effort to help the

Parkinson’s Resource Organization by donating to our event.

Parkinson's disease is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder that affects one in 100 people over age 60. While the average age at onset is 60, people have been diagnosed as young as 18. The incidence of PD increases with age but an estimated 10% of people with PD are diagnosed before the age of 50, referred to as Young Onset Parkinson’s disease.

There is no objective test, or biomarker, for Parkinson's disease.

Nearly one million people will be living with Parkinson's disease (PD) in the U.S. by 2020, which is more than the combined number of people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Lou Gehrig's disease (or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

The Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) based out of Palm Desert, has been working hard so no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s since 1990 and is committed to working hard to keep up with the exponential demand for services with Hope, Encouragement, Support, Education and Inspiration.

Since it’s foundation, the Vino Desert Classic has been committed to raising funds for desert charities and to date we have raised over $335,000.
